Join your community during Indian Creek Festival to create a colorful display of ways we are “Better Together.”

Pre-registration is free and required. Make sure to include your phone number, email, and address and sign the photo release. Prizes will be awarded via email.

Stop by the Caldwell Fine Arts booth at Arthur and 9th at the Luxe Reel Theatre for your number and location after 9 am. Chalk art creation ends at 1pm, when judging and voting begin.

Prizes awarded for Child (8 – 12) Teen (13 – 18) and Adult (19 +). Amazon Gift Cards will be awarded for 1st ($50), 2nd ($30), and 3rd ($20), and there will be a non-competitive section for children under 8. Not an artist? Come vote for the People’s Choice Award from 1 – 2 pm and help send someone home with $100! One award per person. Voting for People’s Choice is from 1 – 2 pm. All winners will be announced before the Cardboard Kayak Races at 3 pm. Winners do not need to be present to win. Awards will be emailed.

Basic sidewalk chalk is provided, or you may bring your own materials. Chalk (including spray chalk), masking tape, brushes, and water are acceptable. No other materials are allowed.

Participants may bring a pillow, blanket, or cardboard to sit or kneel on. No canopies are allowed for space reasons.

Solo entries only, no group efforts.

No one will be able to participate without an entry form and liability release. Parents of minors must sign for them. Artists 10 and under must be accompanied by parent/guardian or supervising adult.

This is an all-ages event. Please, no nudity, explicit language, commercial advertising messages, business logos, or alcohol/tobacco themes. The committee reserves the right to deem any entry inappropriate for a family-themed event.
